The North American Harness Horse Alliance (NAHHA) met in person this week in conjunction with the North America Cup. The meetings were held to discuss several agenda items Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in Milton, Ontario.
Discussions included NAHHA Member difficulties by State with the USTA’s Racehorse Health and Safety Act funding and oversight mechanisms. The concept by-state was discussed from the viewpoint of acceptance due to a different treatment on funding for individual Associations and Racing Commissions. Discussions will continue among the member horsemen’s associations.
